Shimano's new Catana DX Trolling Lite is designed for trolling with live baits and small lures and is available in four powers from 6lbs up to 20lbs. The full carbon blank is remarkably thin, very sensitive and retains the power needed to tackle tough fights, with parabolic action to compensate for the use of light lines. Seaguide Stainless Steel rings are "spiral mounted" on the blank. This configuration, which is considerably different from the previous series, considerably improves the behavior of the blank during the fishing action. A lightweight aluminum reel seat completes the front EVA handle and ensures maximum comfort and safety when fighting large fish.
